Who we are

Creative Barnsley is a not for profit enterprise established with the aim of networking and linking creative individuals, organisations and businesses in the Barnsley borough, enabling them to access new opportunities and business locally, regionally and nationally and helping to foster a new creative identity for the town.

At the core of the business is a team of directors who are committed to the success of the enterprise and its aims. We have been working hard over the past 12 months to develop what we feel is an exciting and wide ranging agenda which we are eager to roll out over next 12 months. You can learn more about what we want to do in the aims and objectives page. As this site develops so will the content, and we will be expanding on all of our projects.

We want Creative Barnsley to be more than an enterprise – we want Creative Barnsley to be part of local life. For that, we need you to be part of it. The network is the lifeblood of Creative Barnsley, and its reason for existing. Please keep visiting the site as we build it; in due course you will be able to have your very own part of it, free of charge, and please keep up to date with what we are doing via our blog.
