Creative Barnsley has developed studio spaces and an exciting new contemporary gallery in the popular Elsecar Heritage Centre. The space, CB HIVE, is now open with HIVE Gallery drawing visitors from across the region to its exciting programme. We have one studio space and one studio share vacant and invite applications. The aim is for the studios and gallery to form the hub of an artistic community with regular events. We will also be looking at developing further studios on the complex with additional facilities such as screen printing equipment, and suitable for a range of artistic practices. Studio holders are entitled to a discount on hire fees for Gallery B our new hireable space adjacent to HIVE Gallery.
